What about women who cannot or do not want to become mothers?
ReplyDeleteI wrote this a long time ago, but I am pretty sure I did not mean motherhood in the biological sense, but rather in the abstract meaning of motherhood as compassion. When I gave birth to my son, my fear for his life was my overriding emotion. If everyone experiences that feeling towards any, and preferably all, human beings, that's peace!
